Worship – Procession of O Antiphons – St. Mark’s Cathedral – Flentrop Organ

Saint Mark’s will present its famous annual Advent service of “O Antiphons,” featuring processions, hymnody, Peter Hallock’s “O Antiphons,” and the world premiere of “O Clavis David,” an Advent composition by local composer William White.

Mr. White’s “O Clavis David,” for SATB choir and organ, is a wonderful addition to the “O Antiphon” repertoire, melding together texts from the Hebrew Scriptures as well as from Elizabeth Hooten, the first female Quaker preacher.
