  • The Year of the Young Organist: Inspiring Growth

    July 7, 2022 @ 9:00 am
This workshop will survey the lessons we learned from the Year of the Young Organist. It will address the impetus for creating the program and its key components, how it was marketed and promoted, and the quantifiable outcomes of the program. We will provide an assessment of what worked and what didn't, including the webinar series and the status of the organ scholar program. We will scrutinize the membership numbers and report our findings. Did we have a net gain of young organists as a result of the program? If so, how many? From what parts of the country?  What were the percentages of new members by gender? What other demographic and useful information have we discovered about AGO Young Organists? We will conclude with recommendations for the next steps.
  • Chapter Leader Connect and Network

    July 5, 2022 @ 9:00 am
This workshop will provide an opportunity for chapter leaders to network with each other and discuss leadership challenges and best practices.
