About
British-born Williams is an international performer, entertainer, documentary host, composer and is “San Diego Civic Organist Emerita” (2001-2016). Raised in a musical Welsh family, she could read music before English. Williams at the Royal Academy of Music was awarded all major prizes for organ, became Fellow of the Royal College of Organists; Fellow of Trinity College London and, received Associate of the Royal College of Music. Studied a year with Daniel Roth at St. Sulpice, Paris. Postgraduate studies at Yale University. Awarded Artist Diploma and the Charles Ives Prize. Earned Doctorate of Musical Arts at Manhattan School of Music and received the Helen Cohn award. Performed for Princess Diana, Virgil Fox Memorial, 10th anniversary of the Walt Disney Concert Hall Organ as well as in many countries worldwide. Williams loves traveling with her husband, composing, performing, and filming. Carol is most popular as a classical artist and brings a new experience to the typical organ concert with her unique registrations, elegance, and exceptional charismatic personality. Williams delivers a diverse musical experience from heavy classical to theatrical, popular, and jazz organ. Presently Artist in Residence and Organist at Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta, Georgia and Artistic Director of Viscount North America. Spirits will be delighted.
