Playing the liturgy is central to our work as organists. It is our bread and butter, the source of most of our compositional and improvisational activity — past, present and future — and the principal means by which we connect with our flocks. Together we will explore different techniques for enlivening our work in this all-important area, taking into consideration matters of color, style, tempi, line, phrasing and structure.
