4×4 All-Terrain Anthems

Learn how to use 4 different anthems 4 different ways and plan for any eventuality.  The presenter is Dr. Kevin Simons, CAGO, Editor for St. James Music Press and Director of Choirs at Saginaw Valley State University.  

As choirs return to worship after the Covid-19 Pandemic, we know that they will look different than before the Pandemic began.  Church choir directors have always had to be flexible, but the ability to adapt how we plan and perform will be more important than ever.  Kevin will demonstrate how anthems can be adapted for use with all sorts of different performing forces, including with a soloist, duet, or even with no singers at all.  How to plan flexibly for worship, new ways to distribute and rehearse music, and other post-Pandemic resources will be covered.
